Nasdaq-listed Star has sent the 69,600-dwt Star Tatianna (built 1993) for demolition, it announced today.
Star did not say how much the ship secured or how the sale would reflect on its balance sheet.
VesselsValue.com prices Star Tatianna at its demolition figure of $3.90m.
It was one of 34 vessels Star Bulk purchased from Excel Maritime last summer in its second fleet deal of the year.
