The company said on Friday an unnamed European owner contracted two vessels for delivery by April 2017.

The ships are worth KRW 172.6bn ($155.9m) combined.

This is its first known order for vehicle carriers since last March, when TradeWinds reported that Ray Car Carriers contracted four 7,500-ceu ships, with options for two more.

Brokers reported that Ray is behind the two new deals.
