MARS and Remontowa are trying to secure business for small coastal cargoships.
"We'll even create a vessel that can run through large rivers," Jaroslaw Staluzka, commercial area manager of MARS, said in Jakarta, according to the Tempo websirte.
The yards have previously designed a ship for the country's marine police.
