Brokers say the restructured shipowner has offloaded the 47,200-dwt Kite (built 1997).
A price of $4.7m has been placed on the sale, which would leave Eagle with a fleet of 44 bulkers all built after 2000.
Eagle declined to comment when contacted by TradeWinds today.
Brokers tell TradeWinds the price is fair and in line with the present market.
Kite has said to have gone to an unknown owner for further trading and not demolition.
