The Hyundai-built, 81,000-dwt Prabhu Sher (built 2011) is reported sold to an undisclosed buyer for $17.2m, the same price that the owner was paid for the sistership Prabhu Mohini (built 2011), which went to Chartworld Shipping of Greece.
Market rumours, which could not be confirmed by the time of writing, say Chartworld is again behind the deal.
If correct, the Prabhu Sher would be the third kamsarmax bought by the diversified firm in less than six weeks.
