The trailing suction hopper vessels will feature dual-fuel engines and LNG tanks and will operate in Europe.

The yard will hand them over before the end of 2016. No price was revealed.

The first vessel will have a hopper volume of 8,000 cbm and the second will have a volume of 3,000 cbm.

Already this year DEME has announced an order of two smaller "green" vessels, a self-propelled jack-up and a multipurpose cable-layer.
