The 3,606-dwt platform supply vessel (PSV) Far Superior (built 1990) was delivered to its new owner today, Farstad said.
But it did not disclose the identity of the new owner or the price for the deal.
The $2m loss from the sale of the ship will be recognized in the company’s first quarter results, to be published next week.
Shortly after that announcement, Farstad disclosed that two more PSVs had been laid up due to a weak offshore market.
