John Fredriksen's Ship Finance International (SFI) has sold 17 year old suezmax tanker at a very firm price.
The 149,000-dwt Mindanao (built 1998) has fetched $21m from a Far East buyer, sources say.
UK based online platform VesselsValue.com says the ship is worth $17.9m.
The tanker has on timecharter to another Fredriksen company Frontline.
In September SFI sold the 149,000-dwt tanker Front Splendour (built 1995) for $14.6m.
