Norway's Dof Subsea has sold its second ship this month in a deal with the government of Australia.

The 4,000-dwt offshore support vessel (OSV) Skandi Protector (built 2007) will be delivered in the first quarter of next year and will free NOK 300m ($34.42m) of cash after repayment of debt.

It worked for the Australian authorities from 2010 to end of 2014 and then operated as a subsea project vessel in the Asia Pacific region this year.
