Torm of Denmark has confirmed its return to the newbuilding market with a deal for up to 10 tankers in China.
Copenhagen-listed Torm says it has booked for firm LR2s at Guangzhou Shipyard International (now CSSC OME).
As TradeWinds reported in our last print edition, the contract also includes six optional slots that Torm can fill with LR2s, LR1s or MR products tankers.
