Mercator Lines has agreed to sell three bulkers amid pressure from one of its lenders.
The troubled shipowner said it has received a notice of enforcement that will see the 69,186-dwt Kesari Prem (built 1997), the 74,405-dwt Gauri Prem (built 2007) and the 73,461-dwt Sri Prem Aparna (built 2001) go.
Loss-making Mercator said the vessels will be sold to companies related to its lender for $14.8m.
