Cosco Corp has secured a contract to build one trailing suction hopper dredger for a European buyer.
The unit will be built at its Cosco Guangdong yard and is scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2018.
Cosco said the two parties have decided to keep the price confidential.
The Singapore-listed shipbuilder took over the Cosco Xianmen repair yard in China last month.
