TradeWinds has learned that Shandong Shipping is the probable buyer of a Dorian VLGC newbuilding set for delivery this month in Korea.
A meeting of the Shandong Shipping board of directors held earlier today has approved the purchase for "not above $81m" of a newbuilding VLGC built at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.
The seller is not identified nor is the ship named in the Chinese-language financial disclosure.
