Indonesia’s Trada Maritime has said it needs IDR 2.24 trillion ($250m) to buy new bulkers.

It is chasing the finance to expand its fleet for a new coal project next year.



The company plans to buy 5,350-hectares of concessions in Damai and East Kalimantan, with reserves of 61m tons.



The ship acquisition programme has yet to be approved by shareholders, it added.
