Stolt-Nielsen-backed Avance Gas has swooped for two VLGCs owned by John Angelicoussis.
Avance has taken both the 85,000-cbm Maran Gas Vergina (built 2008) and Maran Gas Knossos (built 2009), Stolt tells investors today.
Niels Stolt-Nielsen, CEO of Oslo-listed Stolt, says Avance is striving to become an established player in the LPG arena where the outlook continues to strengthen.
“These new ships move the company closer to its targeted fleet size, which the company believes will give increased access to spot and contract business with the world's major shippers of LPG,” he explained.
