Thoresen Shipping has disposed of one its bulk carriers for scrap as it resumes its clear-out of elderly tonnage.
The Thai-backed shipowner said it had sold the 39,087 Thor Wind (built 1998) to Murali Maritime Inc for $2.85m.
The demolition sale leaves the bulker owner with a fleet of 21-owned vessels with an average size of 52,078-dwt and an average age of 11.6
