Tufton Oceanic has dismissed rumours it has added to its tanker fleet.
Brokers were this week linking the UK-based company with the purchase of the 159,400-dwt Cape Baxley (built 2003).
A price of between $25m and $25.5m was placed on the Koenig & Cie-owned tanker, which VesselsValue says is worth $26.9m.
However, executives at Tufton say any suggestions it has bought the ship are untrue.
