Greek owner Thenamaris has sold a suezmax tanker at a healthy price.
It has shipped out the 149,000-dwt Seatriumph (built 2002) in a $30.7m deal, brokers say.
A five-year time charter to Rosneft at $20,000 per day contributed to the premium figure.
Some brokers, however, suggest that this is an older deal, possibly from May, with long subjects attached.
The identity of the Russian buyer has not yet been uncovered.
