UAE owner FAL Shipping has sold the 45,000-dwt tanker Zeta (built 1988) for demolition.
The ship was due for special survey in June next year.
Sources say it has gone for scrapping in Pakistan for some $2.3m to $2.5m .
The tanker was bought as Corinth from Tanker Pacific for $32m in June 2008.
FAL has a similar ship, the 46,000-dwt tanker Omega (built 1990), which could also be a potential scrap candidate.
