Resales return

Three products tanker newbuildings at SLS reported sold last week are back on the market, brokers say.

TradeWinds reported Friday that four 51,000-dwt medium range tankers for about $33m to $33.5m each.

Two of the vessels had been sold to a Mexican owner, a third went to an Egyptian buyer, and the fourth went to an unnamed Italian buyer.

The deals to the undisclosed Mexican and Egyptian companies have failed, shipbrokers report.
