South Korean shipbuilder DSME has won a patent case against a Chinese rival, it said.
The Yonhap news agency reported the yard as saying the row related to its HiVAR-FGSS LNG fuel technology.
It registered a patent in China in 2013.
DSME said a filing by a Chinese shipbuilder with the patent office SIPO to nullify it was dismissed.
Last month, Hyundai Heavy Industries and Samsung Heavy Industries won a patent case against DSME.
