Ocean Longevity of Hong Kong is ordering bulkers from shipyards in Japan, motivated it seems by current low prices to renew its fleet.
Industry sources say the Kwai Sze Hoi-controlled owner will book midsize bulkers at Sasebo Heavy Industries and Oshima Shipbuilding. Sasebo will build at least one 77,000-dwt vessel, while Oshima will be tasked to construct two — one of 77,000 dwt and another of 84,000 dwt.
