Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) and its subsidiaries have posted a big increase in new orders in the first six months.
The overall figure was $4.32bn, up 157.5% from 2016, including growth at Hyundai Mipo and Hyundai Samho, according to the Asiasis website.
HHI's total was $2.25bn, down 15.9% year-on-year.
But Mipo logged a figure of $1.5bn, up 867%, while Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries won $1.02bn
