Russian shipbuilder Krasnoye Sormovo has seen earnings cut in the second quarter.

The company said it made RUB 223.6m ($3.73m) on a net basis, down from RUB 424.6m in the same period of 2016.

Revenue was stable at RUB 3.98bn.

In January, the yard clinched two new contracts to build five tankers and five bulkers.

It will hand over the vessels this year and in 2018.
