Greek dry bulk player Z&G Halcoussis has booked its first newbuilding order in at least seven years, commissioning a post-panamax bulker at Japan’s Sasebo Heavy Industries.
The 85,000-dwt ship, listed as Hull No S858, will be built to IMO Tier-II standards and is due for delivery in 2019.
Assuming no other changes happen to Z&G Halcoussis' fleet by then, it will become the Piraeus-based company's fifth and largest vessel on the water.
