Lavinia Bulk has placed an order for three kamsarmax bulkers plus one option at Penglai Zhongbai Jinglu shipyard in China in a deal valued at about $100m.
The company, which is controlled by the Laskaridis family, moved to complete the order for the 81,500-dwt ships after recently taking delivery of the last in a series of bulker newbuildings it had inked at the Chinese yard.
