UK owner Union Maritime is expanding its bulker fleet with a new order in China.
Brokers reported a contract for two 64,000-dwt ultramaxes has been signed with Cosco Heavy Industry in Yangzhou.
No price was revealed,but recent orders have been quoted at around $24.5m.
The new ships are due in 2020.
Union Maritime also has a series of eight MRs being built at Hyundai Mipo in Korea for delivery this year and in 2019.
