DSME has reported a modest year-on-year fall of just over 3% in its first quarter net profit to KRW 226.3bn ($210.8m).
The shipbuilder blamed the deficit on foreign exchange losses as the South Korean Won strengthened against the US dollar, it said in a regulatory filing.
