Singapore’s ASL Marine Holdings will post a loss in its fourth quarter as the woes of compatriot Swiber Holdings hit its bottom line.

The shipbuilder and offshore shipping player said the red ink to 30 June will be due to a provision of 100% of the money owed by Swiber, which is now under judicial management.

It also blamed one-off reorganisation costs from the engineering business.
