Unionised workers at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard could be set to go on strike for the first time in 20 years.

The Maeil daily reported that staff at the Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) unit have voted to join their colleagues at the parent in industrial action.

About 64% of 2,676 workers voted in favour.

Unions are protesting about downsizing plans in the order slump - and management's refusal to improve terms, including a lack of a pay rise.
