China’s Sainty Marine has revealed its restructuring plan, which includes a shares-for-debt swap.
The troubled shipbuilder plans to convert its capital reserve into about 520 million shares and use them to restructure, the company said in a filing to the Shenzhen stock exchange.
Creditors would be able to convert some debt into the newly issued shares.
Each share would be worth about CNY 13.72
