Ship orders continue to decline at a massive rate in 2016, data from UK broker Clarksons has shown.
Owners struggling with tough markets ordered just 86 new ships between July and September, compared to 409 in the third quarter of last year.
There were just 16 fresh orders in September, against 220 last year.
July saw 25 ships ordered, versus 160 in 2015, and owners put pen to paper on 45 new vessels in August, compared to 101 last year.
