Alafouzos moves on final Metrostar VLCCs

Greek owner Aristides Alafouzos is rumoured to have snapped up the final two VLCCs from the fleet of Theodore Angelopoulos' Metrostar Management.

Tanker industry sources who have been following the ships say the two resales, which are under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries for delivery in 2017, are sold on subjects to an Alafouzos entity at between $83m and $84m each.
