Nordic American Tankers (NAT) says Opec's decision to cut production is "no problem" for the suezmax specialist.

The New York-listed tanker owner issued a brief sentence playing down the oil cartel's move earlier this week as part of an update to a letter to shareholders revealing a positive outlook for its fourth-quarter performance.

"We do not believe that the recent Opec decision can be expected to negatively impact the business of NAT," the company said.
