A US judge expressed reservations about allowing Frontline’s lawsuit against DHT Holdings and BW to move forward, voicing doubt that his court has jurisdiction to hear the tanker giant’s efforts to block a large VLCC sale.

New York Supreme Court Judge Barry Ostrager rejected out of hand one argument by Frontline’s lawyers: that the terms of DHT’s cash and share purchase of 11 VLCCs from Singapore-headquartered BW call lawsuits about the deal to be filed in his jurisdiction.
