Restructuring Korean shipbuilder STX Offshore & Shipbuilding has announced its first order in over a year.
The company said it had won three firm product tankers, plus an option, from two domestic shipowners, according to the Asiasis website.
The 11,200-dwt ships are due from the fourth quarter of 2018. No price is being released.
The 120m vessels will be eco-friendly and operate in coastal Asian waters.
