Capital Product Partners saw a slight gain in profit as revenue rose on a larger fleet and fewer off-hire days. 

The Athens-based shipowner reported net income of $12.3m for the quarter, which was only $0.2m above the year earlier. Earnings per share hit analysts' estimate mark of $0.08 per share. Revenue was also up some 4% to $60.3m.

The Evangelos Marinakis-backed company was able to recharter its containerships at steady rates, but the levels seen for tankers were lower.
