Privately owned Norwegian tanker owner Champion Shipping has secured a firm price for its oldest vessel.
Sources say the Trogir-built, 46,000-dwt products tanker Champion Trust (built 1995) has been sold to an undisclosed buyer for $6m. VesselsValue estimates the ship to be worth $4.6m.
The Champion Trust, which passed special survey in April last year, was acquired in May 2010 as Trogir from SCF Group (Sovcomflot) for $11m.
