The diplomatic fallout between Qatar and its neighbours is already impacting the crude tanker market, according to Affinity Shipping.
A VLCC loading plan was changed on Tuesday night to avoid issues arising from the fallout, the shipbroker said in a research note.
“The vessel was due to load a partial cargo in Qatar before heading to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the remaining capacity, but the plans were changed at the last minute.
