Danish owner Maersk Tankers appears to have disposed of two vintage products tankers.
The Guangzhou-built, 34,000-dwt Maersk Rhode Island (built 2002) is said to have been sold to an undisclosed buyer for $8.5m.
Meanwhile, the Danish owner confirms the sale of the Guangzhou-built, 34,000-dwt Maersk Rapier (built 2000) to an undisclosed buyer for $6.5m. The price is in line with expectations.
