Vaarin Marine Services, a new name on the Dubai shipping scene, has acquired what appears to be its first vessel.
Shipping databases indicate that Vaarin took ownership of the 37,000-dwt chemicals/products tanker Martin (built 1993) this week, renaming it Ebrahim IX.
The transfer confirms recent broker reports that the ship had been sold to Middle East interests.
