Mexico's state-owned oil company Pemex says a major refinery that was hit by fire and flooding will not open for at least one month. The outage is helping to drive up medium-range (MR) tanker demand out of the US Gulf Coast.
The Salina Cruz refinery near the country's Pacific Coast is not expected to be restarted until 30 July, according to a statement from Pemex.
