A major executive at Wilbur Ross’ main company has quit the board of shipowner Navigator Holdings to be replaced by the investor turned politician's new shipping chief.

WL Ross & Co managing director Wendy Teramoto has resigned with finance man Harold “Hal” Malone stepping up to the board until the company’s annual general meeting.

Navigator, which signed a new terminal venture with Enterprise Products Partners last week, said simply that she had not exited as the result of a disagreement.
