Torm has made its first expansionary move in 18 months with the addition of four medium-range (MR) tanker resales on order at its favourite shipyard, the former Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI).
However, identifying the vessels involved in the transaction is proving something of a riddle.
Copenhagen-listed Torm this week announced it had purchased the vessels for delivery in 2019, with the deal potentially growing further should it exercise options on four more vessels at the yard.
