Japanese shipping giant K Line looks to have swapped pool operators for one of its modern chemical tankers.

The shipowner has entered its 33,590-dwt Genuine Galaxy (built 2012) into Navig8’s Stainless8 Pool, TradeWinds understands.

The ship was previously entered into Hansa Tankers, but looks to have been switched after less than twelve months in the Bergen-based pool.

The addition of the Japanese-built tanker will take the number of vessels committed to the Stainless8 Pool to 12 vessels.
