Eyal Ofer’s Zodiac returns to Heidmar

Eyal Ofer’s Zodiac Maritime has returned as a pool partner at Heidmar after a near 14-year absence.

It has committed its recently purchased VLCC, the 297,085-dwt Blue Nova (built 2011) to the Seawolf Tankers pool

Previously, Ofer was a pool partner in the Star Tankers pool between 1999 and 2003, the commercial tanker operator said.

Seawolf Tankers controls nine VLCCs with an average age of nine years with ships from Ridgebury Tankers, India’s Mercator, U-Ming Marine Transport and Singapore-based GC Tankers.
