Hong Kong-headquartered Brightoil Petroleum is taking a patient approach to its long-mooted plans to order a raft of new large tankers after searching around shipyards for almost a year.
Stephen Qi, Brightoil’s Singapore-based chief operating officer, told TradeWinds that the company has spent the past 12 months talking to a variety of shipyards in both China and South Korea.
