Overseas Shipholding Group posted a third-quarter loss that was narrower than last year's. But revenue continued to weaken as Jones Act charterers switch away from long-term contracts to spot market employment.
OSG reported a $6.3m net loss for the quarter, which resulted in $0.07 per share loss. The company showed a small operating profit, but interest expenses still weighed on the results.
