Wah Kwong is believed to have found fresh time charter coverage for one of its VLCCs.
Tanker market sources say the 297,300-dwt Trikwong Venture (built 2012) has been fixed for one-year to Koch.
A rate of between $17,000 and $17,500 per day is suggested for the contact.
The deal comes after Navig8 opted against taking up an option on the tanker, priced at a higher $30,000 per day, TradeWinds is told.
