Teekay Tankers has cleared the final hurdle in its merger with spin-off Tanker Investments Ltd.
Shareholders have approved an amendment to the buyer's corporate charter that will allow it to issue more shares as part of a deal to acquire Tanker Investments Ltd.
The additional shares are part of the share-for-share acquisition of the approximately 89% of TIL it did not already own.
